Subject: Linda Hogan Looking To Cash In On Hulk's "O.J. Simpson" Comments Tue 28 Apr 2009, 5:39 pm |

Earlier this month, Hulk Hogan made tabloid headlines when he told Rolling Stone magazine that after the latest round of divorce proceedings, he empathizes with O.J. Simpson. Hogan told Rolling Stone, "I could have turned everything into a crime scene, like OJ, cutting everybody's throat. You live half a mile from the 20,000-square-foot home you can't go to anymore, you're driving through downtown Clearwater and see a 19-year-old boy driving your Escalade, and you know that a 19-year-old boy is sleeping in your bed, with your wife . . . I totally understand OJ. I get it."
Now, TMZ.com reports that Linda Hogan is looking to cash in on Hulk's poor choice of words. This afternoon, Linda filed papers in Pinellas County, Florida claiming she is in "imminent danger of becoming a victim" and needs an additional $8,200 a month from Hulk so she can move "thousands of miles away" from him.
Linda is also asking for $24,000 for "advanced rent and security deposits" so she can find a new home in California - where, as TMZ points out, O.J. allegedly killed his wife.

Moral of the story..... WAR O.J.?
Seriously though, dumb as fuck for Hogan to say that to such a mass media outlet. Even on the smallest of media forms it would've been stupid. Rolling Stone though? Jeesh! Why wouldn't anyone including your whore ex try and get over on you even more after that said?! Not worth it Hulkster. Your wrestling mic skills doesn't translate to people skills i guess.

What people fail to see is how the media, took one statement he said and took it way out of context, The media took one thing and ran with it but didn't bother to include the other things he said. Hogan said in that interview that he wouldn't do it. Read the rolling stones magazine.

Context of any statement is key. This is just going to be a way for a money hungry ex to get some more of the Hulksters dough.
If you really wanna break this down here's how it goes.
1. It's a celebrity. 2. They are more news worthy than things that actually matter 3. Anything that they say will get twisted and prodded more than a contortionist with a cattle prod up her ass.
Now in reality, it's just like anyone else going through Marital problems. There's nothing special about this case vs any other. The media chooses to make it special because they have money and a face that is recognizable. They will exploit it until they have bleed it dry, then they will do a blood transfusion just to get a little more out of it. Because of this I can't say one way or another who is the bad guy, if there even is one. I'd rather it not be ugly and messy and let them just get on with their lives.
