I'll never forget that shit when Renzo and the Gracies were in the dressingroom b4 the saku fight saying Ryan was really badly injured,his right shoulder is really really fucked up,bla blah.The doctors had said he shouldnt fight but the Gracie fighting spirit meant Ryan was gonna suck it up and go ahead.Renzo,rather unconvincengly went on about Ryans injuries and it all seemed a bit weird.

I cant really remember the details of it all or the so called nature of the injury but what stuck in my memory was that it was all a bunch of BS.It was so overplayed that it was almost comical.
Renzo knew Saku was gonna kick Ryans ass so he concocted these injury stories as an excuse to save the face of Gracie jiu-jitsu.
To faccilitate getting the message of Ryans injuries across, large strips of sky blue tape were then wrapped around Ryans leg and upper torso.

It was hilarious.
